World Day Of Prayer - March 5th

World Day of Prayer is a worldwide ecumenical movement of women of
many faith traditions who come together to observe a common day of
prayer each year on the first Friday in March.  The first celebrations of
World Day of Prayer began in Canada and the United States in 1920.

World Day of Prayer is initiated and carried out by women in more than 170
countries and regions.  There is the annual day of celebration - the first
Friday for March - to which
all people are welcome.
3 Days With God

Would you like to spend 3 days with God?  Then it's time
to think about
Tres Dias.  It is a 3 day weekend
worshipping God.  
It will change your life.  The cost is
$125.00 for the entire weekend..There are no other
expenses.

You would leave Thursday night and return Sunday
evening.  The fee includes transportation, all meals, room
and so much more.  The men's weekend is May 13-16th
and the women's is May 20-23rd.  If you need more

front table.
Lenten Study

Every Thursday thru March 25th a Lenten study series
titled "
Where in the World is God?" written by Stephen
J. Carter.  The evening begins in our church basement
with soup and sandwich at 6:30pm; Study sessions last
about one hour.  
All are welcome.
We Want To Snap Your Picture!

On May 18th and 19th, 2010, plans are being made to
have pictures taken at the church for a new church
directory.  Mark your calendars now so all can participate.  
More on this later.
Beat the Recession Movie Night!
March 27th - "Nanny McPhee"

Free Movie, Free Popcorn, Free Lemonade.  We have an
area set up front for the kids so encourage them to bring
a blanket and a pillow if they'd like.
Easter Egg Hunt!!

We will be hosting our yearly Easter Egg Hunt!  We're in
need of volunteers and Candy donations.  If you'd like to
donate candy please note that only individually wrapped
candy can be used.  We aren't able to use jelly beans or
M&M's unless they are inside their own protective wrapper.

Donations can be dropped off any time.  If you'd like to
arrange a time to meet at the church please call Tina
Stephens to set up a meeting date at 815-246-9894.
